Netflix is ​​one of the oldest streaming platforms out there. Outlander

Another of the historical series that is also a Netflix flagship is Outlander. It has a fantastic touch (because of time travel) but the plot centers on Claire, a war nurse who, she doesn't know how, ends up in 1743. There she will meet certain characters that will be related to her (ancestors of her husband, for example) as well as others that can make her live an adventure and passion like she has never experienced before.

Another of Netflix's historical series, in this case of origin Korean, tells us the story of two twins, a boy and a girl. The problem is that this is an omen that something is not right. The series tells the story of Elizabeth II, Queen of England. It begins when the queen got married and goes through a historical review of the British family. Although you should know that, with the death of the queen, they have already warned that the series is going to end.

And yes, there are tragic moments like the death of Lady Di.

Versailles

Another of the period series, in this case located in France, tells us the story of the "Sun King", which, in case you don't know, was the nickname that Louis XIV had. He is credited with the construction of the Palace of Versailles but it does not focus only on his figure, but also reveals all the intrigues of the court and how the monarchy of the time lived and did its "goings" to achieve benefits.

The cook of Castamar

Although this series was broadcast on Antena 3, we can now watch it on Netflix (and it was a success because those who couldn't watch it on television had it on the platform the next day).
