As I promised, today we will know the basic complements or extensions (add-ons) that you should have in Firefox to improve our productivity and be safer on the web, this article is specially intended for those users "newbies " in regards to the great world of Firefox.
First access your installed add-ons (Tools> Plugins), there you will see the information / function of each one and you can manipulate them as you see fit. Now we will name those that in my humble understanding are necessary.
Adblock Plus, remove (block) any advertising that you find annoying with a simple click.
DownloadHelper, download videos and images from many sites.
DownThemAll!, the bulk downloader for Firefox, accelerates and manages every download that is made.
FacePAD, quickly and easily download entire albums from Facebook.
Fasterfox, speed up Firefox by making adjustments so that you have greater productivity.
Forecastfox, get weather forecasts for your region from weather.com and display them in a toolbar or status.
NoScript, offers extra protection to Firefox by not allowing javascript or other plugins.
TiX Now!, stops waiting time on sites like rapidshare, megaupload. It is displayed in the footer bar as a T.
Obviously there are hundreds of extensions and with different functions but those are the basics, remember that you will have to configure them to get more benefit and if you know of any other please share it with us in the comments.
Note.- I have not placed the download links for each one since they vary according to the version of Firefox you have, you can look for them in the link at the end, only download add-ons from the official page and that they are useful for you, so you will avoid slowing down from Firefox.
