How to beat the Snow Day challenge in Clash of Clans?

Key points:

The in-game Snow Day challenge is a limited-time event that gives the winner 400 XP and an obstacle course.

The test base is huge and open, covering the entire map. Due to its large size, it has many open areas full of frost traps.

It's an easy challenge as you have decent troops to attack but your Barbarian King, Archer Queen and High Lord are level 10 and you have 2 Freeze and 2 Santa spells.

With these heroes we have to face Town Hall 11, but we get a level 10 Royal Champion.

To beat the challenge, the game has provided us with:

    • Barbarians x30
    • Archers x20
    • Giants x2

    • Wall destroyers x2
    • Boar Riders x2
    • Witches x2
    • Bowlers x2
    • Level 10 Barbarian King
    • Queen of Archers Level 10

Steps to overcome the challenge

Step 1: Surprise Santa Claus

On the easternmost side of the Snow Day Challenge Base there will be a pocket with a mage tower and mortar. Cast the two Santa spells you have between them. The mage tower should be damaged to half health, and the mortar should take a lot of damage. There will now be a bunch of trees to the east of the base. Among these trees there will be a hidden Tesla. Drop the Giant and the Barbarian to destroy it. Once they have eliminated the Hidden Tesla, they will head towards the Base.

Step 2: Vortex Pigs

Now a little south of the wizard tower and the mortar there will be 2 archer towers outside the base and the Inferno tower inside the base. Carefully place some barbarians on the archer towers and place some archers behind them. Use as few barbarians and archers as possible, but destroy the two archer towers using 9 barbarians and 6 archers. When the archer towers are destroyed, place a giant to latch onto the Inferno tower. While Hell is distracted, he places both Riders in the Tower of Hell. The Giant you used for the Hidden Tesla will now repel shots from the Wizard Tower. Place some archers to destroy the Wizard's Tower. If done correctly, the entire pocket and various other defenses should be destroyed.

Step 3: Deploy the King's Champion

There will be 2 archer towers located right in front of the one you just destroyed. Repeat the same process to destroy them with barbarians and archers. Don't use all barbarians and archers. Go to the south part of the base, deploy the King's Champion with the High Lord behind it. You should aim for the archer's tower first. On the south side there will be an Inferno tower right next to the wizard tower and some resource buildings. Place some goblins in the resource buildings next to the Hell Tower. As the royal champion walks towards the Tower of Hell, place and deploy some barbarians to distract the Tower of Hell. When the royal champion advances, the clan castle troops will be released. Use a freeze spell on them so the royal champion can destroy them. After destroying these troops, the royal champion will target the mortar and summon the Hidden Tesla. He activates his ability at this time.

Step 4: Release the Cavalry

Now place goblins on the north side of the base to trigger frost traps at the base entrances. Now place a barbarian, followed by a wall destroyer to create an opening at the top of the base. In the back, place the two witches to spawn skeletons, throw some barbarians to create a diversion, your barbarian king in the opening, the archer queen to follow him, and Bowler to clear the buildings of the surroundings. Activate the Overlord's ability to keep the King's Champion alive. If done correctly, all of your heroes should gather at the top of the base.

Step 5: Clear the time

There will now be a mage tower on the west end of the base. Position the barbarian to distract him, then throw the last bowler on him. You have a freezing spell in reserve, use it when the King's Champion needs it. At this point, all base defenses should be down and your troops are rampaging. Distribute the remaining troops around the map and activate your heroes' abilities to speed up the cleanup process.
