Baser Cor: Services

The company Baser Cor, has for its customers the PVPC Electricity Rate, also the Last Resort Rate (TUR) for gas and the Electrical and Thermal Social Bonus. They will be described in detail below.

PVPC Electricity Rate

The Small Consumer Voluntary Price Rate (PVPC), belongs to the regulated market, this means that the prices are dictated by the government, said rate establishes a different price at each hour of the day.

This Rate is offered through three modalities: the first is standard, the second with hourly discrimination in two periods and the third with hourly discrimination in three periods.

Standard Rate

The Standard Rate of Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC) of Baser Core, refers to the fact that the cost of the electrical energy service varies every hour of the day.

Rate with hourly discrimination in two periods

The PVPC tariff with hourly discrimination in two periods, refers to the fact that the price of the electricity service varies every hour, but it is established only in two periods, one of them cheaper than the other. These periods are:

  • Peak Hours: the schedule is established from 12:00 to 22:00 during the winter and from 13:00 to 23:00 during the summer.
  • Off-peak Hours: this period establishes the following schedule in winter, from 22:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., and in summer, from 23:00 p.m. to 13:00 p.m.

Rate With Time Discrimination in three Periods

This rate includes a third period, called "Supervalle", this rate has a lower cost of electricity service than the previous ones. The schedule of the "Supervalley" period is from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Terms of use

The PVPC rate of the Baser Cor company does not have permanence, for this reason it is not favored with promotions or discounts. Unless the consumer is covered by the Electricity social bonus.

This rate can only be contracted by consumers who maintain a power equal to or less than 10 kW.

It should be noted that Baser Cor, in addition to the PVPC, also offers the Fixed Price rate, which establishes a single amount for the service, in a period of 12 months.

Data of Interest

It is important to mention that the cost of the Baser Cor Fixed Price rate is established according to the end of the power (0.1042 €/kW/day) and the end of the energy (0.1474 €/kW/h).

Gas Last Resort Tariff (TUR)

This rate, like the electricity rate, is regulated by the state. It is available to customers in two modalities, and will depend on the volume of consumption of each of the customers. These modalities are:

  • The Last Resort Rate 3.1: which is contracted, generally, in homes that use natural gas service, only for hot water and cooking. The consumption of this is up to 5000 kWh/year.
  • And the Tariff of Last Resort 3.2: the consumption of this tariff is established between 5000 and 50000 kWh/year. In this rate, the use of natural gas is included for hot water, cooking and heating.

It is important to mention that the company's TUR Baser Core, can only be contracted when consumption is less than 50000 kWh/year.

Pricing

The cost of the Last Resort Rates (TUR) of Baser Cor, are modified every quarter, and published in the BOE (Official State Gazette), the last modification of their prices was as follows:

It is important to note that every user who enjoys the Electric Social Bonus will automatically enjoy the Thermal Social Bonus.

This bonus is granted in the form of a single payment and its amount will depend on the climate and the geographical area in which the consumer's home is located. To benefit from this bonus, there is no need for such a requirement, since if the customer is a beneficiary of the Electric Social bonus, he will automatically be a Thermal bonus as well.

bill

According to the contracted service, the invoices of the Baser Cor marketer are issued every month or every two months. The structure of these invoices is different, that is, they have different information sessions. Get to know each of them below.

Electric energy service

This is issued every thirty days, it contains different sessions, among which the following stand out: the summary, the consumption graph, the contract data (name of the owner, address of the service supply, others) and the details of the bill of the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC).

It should be noted that the details of the Small Consumer Voluntary Price is divided into two lines:

  • Billing for the Contracted Power.
  • And the Billing for the Energy Consumed.

Billing for Contracted Power

This line informs the client about the power access toll price, which is used to satisfy the costs related to the use of the transportation networks.

Likewise, it details the price of the commercialization, which includes the costs of customer service, contracting and the management of invoices.

Billing for Energy Consumed

In this line, the client is informed about the amount for the energy access toll, which is charged in order to satisfy the cost of transporting electricity, and the use of the infrastructure that transports electricity to the homes.

It also details information on the amount per cost of energy, that is, the value for producing electricity, said value is obtained by multiplying the kWh consumed by the term of the hourly cost of energy.

Natural Gas Service

The natural gas service bill is issued every two months. And its amount is calculated based on the conversion factor, which allows converting the gas into kWh.

It is important to mention that natural gas is measured in m3, but billing is issued in kWh. Then, the conversion factor depends on the heat power of the gas, and the altitude of the province in which the supply point is located.
