Dark Souls 2 how to open the walls of illusion

Many players are faced with a rather complicated task, namely how to open the illusion walls, and in this guide we will try to figure it out.

Illusion walls in Dark Souls 2 are secret passageways that are opened by pressing the A key next to them on XBox 360 or X on PS3 (Shift + Left Click on PC). Hitting illusion walls does not unlock them, as it did in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1. Below is a list of all destructible illusion walls in the game. A few notes:

• • If a player's message prevents you from opening the illusion wall, quickly press A/X and the wall will open after closing the message dialog.

• • During cooperative play or invasion, only the master of the world can open the walls of illusion. Ghosts can only gesture to open walls for the master of the world.
