How to download parts of YouTube videos

Download videos from YouTube It is a task known to every user, as we have an infinity of programs, add-ons, extensions, applications and web services to choose from, there are them for all tastes and requirements. But sometimes we do not need to download a complete video, imagine that you are watching a tutorial for example and you are only interested from minute 3, what would you do? probably download it and then cut it with an editing software ... because in this post I will show you a simpler and faster alternative that will be quite useful for those cases.

The idea is download aapart from the video, a fragment, where we can define the duration (time) and then proceed with its respective download in the desired format. For this we will use a free web service and in Spanish.

Step 1.- Go to the site of ClipConverter, paste the URL of the desired video and click the continue button. The site will start recognizing the video.

Step 2.- In section 'Conversion Format', choose an output format, those on the right correspond to video: MP4, 3GP, AVI, MOV. In this example I choose MP4.

Step 3.- When choosing the format, the conversion options will be displayed, what interests us here is where it says «Convert from«, We uncheck the options 'Start of video' and 'End of video' in order to define the time we need to download.

Mention that it is established by HH: MM: SS, which corresponds to Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

Step 4.- Following the example I will start it from second 10, until second 50. Click on the start button and we wait.

At this point the video conversion and trimming will start, we just wait.

Step 5.- At the end we simply click on the download button and voila, yes, make sure before unchecking the option shown in the following screenshot:
