In the San Francisco region of Rainbow Six Extraction, a tutorial task called "Death scanner". It requires you to gain five scouting abilities or assists, but the game doesn't explain exactly what counts as a scouting kill and what doesn't.

Every time you kill an enemy that has been scanned, it counts as a scan kill.
