How to hide how many times your Google+ profile has been viewed

Do you notice something different? Does it look prettier? I hope so 😉 because this past week I was doing the hosting migrationIn other words, changing the blog's hosting to another company, a task -manual- in which I had some problems, but which has already been successfully completed. In addition, we have a new theme, a template with a professional lookete, a clean design and optimized for better performance, which I think will be the definitive one in VB.

Having clarified this, and to resume the normal blog post right now, I wrote this quick article, a post that despite being simple can be useful in case you worry about your privacy on Google Plus.

You may have already noticed, but if not, I will tell you that recently the boys of G+ have made a change in their social network, it is about the implementation of a view counter for Google Plus profiles, a function that shows the number of times a profile has been viewed or visited. You did not know? Take a look at the following image and see what it looks like:

Google+

Now, this feature has come as a pleasant surprise for some and not so good for others, as happens in all unexpected changes, I personally like it, but if you don't, you can deactivate it without problems in a jiffy. Let's see how to do it in two steps.

Hide the view counter in Google Plus

Step 1:.- Go to Google + and in the left side panel, where it says «Página principal» click «Configuration«. For the laziest click on this link if you want a quick shortcut hehe

Step 2:.- Uncheck the box «show how many times the profile and its content were viewed«.

show how many times the profile and its content were viewed

That is all! Now you can check and notice that the number of times they have seen your profile is no longer shown, as it was before 😎

By the way, if anyone wants to follow me this is my profile, I will gladly follow it too 😀 Tell us, what do you think of this new feature? Would you rather hide it, or keep it visible to everyone? ...
