How to download WhatsApp statuses with and without applications

There is no official way to download WhatsApp Status. However, that does not mean that it is an impossible task. In fact, it's quite easy to do if you know the method or if you have the right app.

How to download whatsapp status without installing an app

The best way to download WhatsApp status is to use the system file explorer. However, a clarification is necessary at this stage. The folder you need to access is a hidden folder. Therefore, your browser must allow you to view hidden files. If your browser doesn't have this option, use alternatives like Total Commander.

In our case, we were able to use the built-in browser. First of all, find the status you want to download. By doing this, you will force WhatsApp to save it to internal memory. Next, go to /WhatsApp/Media/ in the device memory. There you will see a folder called .Statuses. Click on it.

There you will find the files that your contacts have uploaded to their statuses.

Copy them to any other folder or upload them to the cloud for backup. You can also use them in other applications, such as Telegram or Twitter.

How to download WhatsApp statuses with SnapTube

If the above method doesn't make sense to you, you can also download WhatsApp statuses using Snaptube.

Again, you will have to view the content on WhatsApp before you can start recovering it. Next, on the Snaptube home screen, click See all sites.

Next, tap on the WhatsApp icon.

Finally, select the image or video you want to upload.

To see the files downloaded with Snaptube, navigate to the snaptube folder in the internal memory. In the download directory, you will find all the content downloaded from WhatsApp statuses. Of course, you can move it from there or upload it to the cloud if you want.
