How to find all the Kappa figures in Yakuza: Like a Dragon

About halfway through Capture 5, you'll find the Yakuza Like a Dragon Kappa Statuettes quest as part of the Part-Time Hero quest line.

Just like in the Yakuza Like a Dragon Missing Cats quest, you will need to talk to Hiro to start over. Once that's done, it's time to start looking for all the Yakuza Like a Dragon Kappa statues that are scattered all over Ijincho. These Kappa statues can be hidden in the strangest of places, and while some are obvious, others will have to be sought out.

What makes this quest a must-have is that the player will receive 2 million yen for completing it. Not bad at all, especially when you realize how much it can cost to upgrade weapons and armor. And that's not counting what a Poundmates phone can cost. So collecting those Kappa figures from Yakuza Like a Dragon? It is a great investment!

Yakuza Like a Dragon kappa location figurines

Above we've outlined where you can find these Yakuza Like a Dragon Kappa figures, and below we've detailed exactly where these pesky figures are hiding.

1. Bar area – Upstairs in the Survival bar

Trust us when we say this little Kappa statue is not easy to find. The Survive Bar is already unlocked before you can participate in this quest, but if you haven't explored the bar thoroughly, you may be surprised to find that it has a first floor!

Go up the stairs and you will come to a single room with a half-open closet. Look inside and you'll find a Kappa statue looking down at you, nothing creepy. Take a picture of it with your phone and voila! This is the first Kappa statue.

2. Rising Street – In the open window outside Ichiban's house

Finding it is much easier. Exit the Ichiban residence and turn left, then walk down the street until you find a building with a green neon sign above it. You can look inside through the glass and see a Kappa statue there. Take a picture of it and it will be the second Kappa statue from the bottom.

3. South Sakura River Street – next to the young man by the river

You will most likely come across this Kappa statue before you have a chance to take a picture of it. Right next to the car park where you can do the "Can Pickup" quest, you'll see a guy loitering near the statue. This statue is the Kappa statue, but as we explained in the intro, you can only take a picture of it after talking to Hiro as part of the Part-Time Hero quest, which takes place in Chapter 5.

4. Romance Street – Behind the wire fence on the stairs

At the end of the east map, just before you reach the inaccessible area, you will have the opportunity to turn right down a small alley. Do so and you'll come across a small fenced off area to your left that you can't enter, and you'll see a Kappa statue sitting on one of the steps. Take out your phone and take a photo.

5. Restaurant Row – Chapter 6, On the Roof

This Kappa statue can only be retrieved after you have beaten the main plot of chapter 6. You will be asked to go stop Captain Takabe, which will lead you to a dead end, except for a small alcove going up on your right. . We have included another image to help you visualize where to go.

Go up and turn left. Look up and you'll see the Kappa statue on top of the flat roof, which is impossible to get to, but that won't stop you from taking a photo.

6. Fukutokucho – only available after beating half of chapter 7

This statute is the most difficult because you have to pass at least part of chapter 7 to get it. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about, because as you progress through the game you'll come across an area that the game pulls you away from. This should tell you that there is something very juicy in there.

And there really is. Unfortunately, you will have to wait to get it. After passing this area in chapter 7, you will have the opportunity to return without the game telling you that you are lost.

Go up the stairs to where you first followed the mysterious Geomijul leader, but instead of turning right inside, turn left and you'll see a Kappa statue in front of you, which you can take a photo of.

7. West Jinnai Station – Behind the wall, in the glass elevator

This is an incredibly strange Kappa statue that is very easy to find, as it is very easy to get lost around Jinnai Station. The best way to find it is to look for the barriers that are blocking your way, if there is a square, box-like area next to these barriers, then you have found the Kappa statue in the glass elevator! Take a photo to remember the time you have spent together.

8. West Carriage Road – Behind the mini ballpark

9. Chinatown – In a dark corner, near inaccessible shops

Despite the name, this Kappa statue is hidden in plain sight and not in a shady corner. As she makes her way through the busy streets of Chinatown, she will eventually come across an intersection where she can choose to go up, left, or right. The Kappa statue is just before this junction, hidden in a corner behind some inaccessible shops.

10. Hamakita Park – In a coffee van

Do you want some kappa in your coffee? In Hamakita Park there are several cafes with vans, two of which are right outside the Dragon Kart entertainment center. The first, which sells materials you can use to upgrade your armor and weapons, will have a Kappa statue next to the owner.

And that's it! That's all the Kappa statues you can get. Now don't dawdle, go report to your Part Time Hero and get the 2 million yen you deserve.
