How does Greeter work in IMVU?
Once you become a Greeter, you will have access to the official Greeter forum, where you can find out all the details. And also, in the Classic Client, you have a special menu in the Chat Rooms section. Of course, you won't see a special icon on your profile, because it will be given to you after greeting a registered user.
To get started with Greeter, open the Chat Rooms tab, look at the room search menu, you'll see a big yellow GO button at the bottom, and "Greeter needed" above it. Click the button to enter the reception room. From this point your work has begun.
How can I get a greeter badge in IMVU?
To get a purple greeter badge on your profile, you have to wait in the greeter room for a new user who has recently signed up. If you are greeted in the chat room, you will receive a +1 to greet and a Purple Man badge, which will appear instantly. If the badge still does not appear, that player is also a Greeter.
Can I call my friends in the reception room?
Unfortunately not, this room is only for reception staff, and to meet new users who have recently registered. If your friend is a member of Greeter, he can easily drop by to keep you company.
What happens if I don't connect to the reception room for a long time?
After a period of time, a week to be exact, you will receive a message that you haven't connected to Greeter's in a while and your profile's greeting counter will be reset to 0. If you ignore this message and you continue to fail to connect and greet new registered users, your Greeter badge will be removed and your access to the greet room will be closed, you will lose your job.
Why this counter in the profile of the person you greet?
It is a point system that you accumulate as you greet users, once you reach 50 points you will receive a special item prepared as a reward, keep greeting and receive exclusive gifts from IMVU.
