Today I want to share with you friends, an application that has been useful to me at the beginning of my university career, we talk about FreeDFD un free flowchart editor; If you are about to start a Computer Science degree or just want to learn programming, this is the right program.
FreeDFD, previously called Smart DFD (1997), is a Software developed by 3 young people from the University of Magdalena - Colombia, which aims to be the basis for teaching and simple practice of algorithms.
With FreeDFD you will be able to graphically shape any algorithm or flow diagram that you want to create, execute and correct (debug) it in case of errors. It has a fairly intuitive interface, available in Spanish-English-Portuguese, where all the necessary objects in the design of a diagram are grouped, such as: Start, Read, Cycles, Decisions, Subprograms, Exit, etc.
The program includes a directory with example diagrams, where we find basic algorithms, matrices / vectors / functions / games and others for greater understanding.
FreeDFD It is an open source software, it does not need installation and it is compatible with Windows in its versions Vista / XP / NT / Me, etc. Soon there will be a new improved version, with new functions and compatible with Linux.
