Where are all the secrets of Metal Slug hidden?
- Stage 1. Two pairs of hostages are hidden at the top of two waterfalls, see them right before the boss fight. He shoots at the top of the waterfalls and the hostages will fall to the ground.
- Stage 2. Shoot the funny green bush near the bridge before you meet the mid-level boss - a big tank on rails - and three hostages will jump out at you.
- Stage 3. The hostages are hidden in large trees, which need to be chipped in the section where you have the metal slug tank. However, it is a matter of chance, shooting the trees every time and occasionally freeing the hostages. Aside from these random guys, some hostages will fall straight out of the sky when you fight the final level boss. Don't kill the boss before he collapses and deal the final blow as late as possible, then you can free up to five hostages!
- Stage 4. After getting the Metal Slug Tank at the beginning of the level, shoot the ceiling in the bar just above the lamp above the front door. The place is hard to see, but it's good to hit it with the tank's laser and free all three at once. Before the boss of the final level you can shoot the right corner of the cave and free the three hostages, but you can also shoot the lower left corner - there are three more. Unfortunately, only one of these operations can be done. Choose the bottom corner, it will be a bit easier that way.
- Stage 5. Shoot the tops of the first and second tree between the houses. There are three hostages in the first tree and only two in the second. Shoot the "landing gear" of the boss at the end of the level - free three more hostages and get useful power-ups.
- Stage 6. Shoot the little white cloud as soon as the ship docks, you will find two hostages (near the end of the stage).
