At this point in the game we know of 11 status effects, which can be broken down into primary and secondary effects. Secondary effects depend on the character's abilities and are tied to the specific path you have chosen for your character. There are five main effects. Primary state effects
Ashes Status Effects
Ashes and Freeze are two status effects that can render you immobile. To avoid the Ashes status effect, you must use the melee attack. The base duration of the Ashes effect is 2,5 seconds. So when you use Ash on an enemy, he can stop them for 2,5 seconds. Depending on the enemies, the effect of the ashes can vary. Weapon mods that allow you to inflict ash are level 1 ash bullets and pyromancer skills like Feed the Flames, Ash Blast.
Effect of bleeding status
This is a bonus damage effect and can be neutralized by standing up for the duration of the effect. The weapon mods that allow the Bleeding effect to be applied to enemies are level 1 Bleeding Bullets. Devastating class abilities such as Impale and Infinite Mass can also cause bleeding.
Burn Status Effect
Like the bleed, the burn status effect also deals bonus damage. To remove the effect, you must dodge the roll. Weapon mods that allow the burn effect to be applied are Level 1 Burning Bullets and Burning Blood. The pyromancer's "Heat Wave" class skill can impose burn status on enemies.
Freeze Status Effect
While the Ashes status effect immobilizes or stops enemies for 2,5 seconds, the Freeze status effect immobilizes or stops enemies for 3,5 seconds. If you are trapped by this effect, you can break free using a melee attack.
