Resident Evil Village How can I upgrade my weapon?

This Resident Evil Village manual page explains how to upgrade weapons. We have described two basic ways to upgrade weapons.

Installation of improvements / modifications on weapons

The first method involves installing mods on the weapons you own. New weapon mods can mostly appear in the Duke's shop, but keep in mind that many of them can be very expensive. First choose mods that apply to frequently used weapons and make killing monsters easier.

Weapon mods can be found throughout the game world as loot. This is definitely a more interesting way to get them, since you don't have to pay anything and once you find them, you can install them on the weapon yourself.

Increased weapon stats

The second way is to increase the stat points of weapons. You can do this in the Duke's shop in the Armory tab.

Unfortunately, weapon upgrades are expensive. We recommend first upgrading the "Strength" parameter, the firepower of the weapon. This will allow you to destroy monsters more efficiently and consume less ammo. Rapid fire is also important for weapons like shotguns or sniper rifles.

Please note that not all upgrade levels are immediately available, even if you have enough money in your inventory. Levels are unlocked as you progress through the game, but remember that upgrades to higher levels will cost even more.
