Create bootable USB drives easily

Rufus It is a 420 KB portable tool, it does not need to be installed and it is quite complete, powerful and efficient. Includes formatting support on NTFS, FAT, FAT32, exFAT, and other file systems. Among its advanced options you can define the size of the cluster, labels, and other suitable configurations for expert users with high demands.

Its interface in English is clear, clean, so there will be no complications to understand its use. It is compatible with Windows from its XP version onwards, 32-64 bits does not matter. Who know FreeDOS, I comment that booting the USB drives with Rufus, is based on and includes support from this good OS. FreeDOS it's basically like the old man MS-DOS, But much better!

I was unaware of the existence of this application. I gave it a try and I think it is as good (or better) than Unetbootin and Wintoflash together. To my pen drive of good applications that goes.
    Thank you friend.

Very good, it allows you to install wifislax and wifiway and that they boot correctly, without having to take other steps such as extracting the iso to the USB, and executing the bootinst file so that it can boot without problems.

    Greetings and excellent blog

Hello Fabio, yes, with this tool you can install any Linux distro, the one you like the most. By the way, I also recommend reading this article, maybe it will help you create a specific bootable version of the OS you need:

From this other article you can get the portable applications for Linux, ideal for your USB memory. I would recommend that you use a minimum of 8 GB capacity.
