I must tell you friends that finding the correct definition for this good Software was a bit complicated for me, and that is Shutdown Control it collects or bundles different power functions for Windows that to label it as a specific software would be wrong. After you try it, I would greatly appreciate your suggestions.
As we see in the capture, Shutdown Control is an application that groups together various functions to shut down, restart or suspend the computer. Specifically and in order we have the following:
- Power Off, this button is responsible for shutting down the computer and monitor together.
- Restart, shut down Windows and then start it again (Restart).
- Hibernate (Hibernate), turns off the computer without closing the programs since Windows saves the information in the memory of the hard disk and then turns off the computer. When you restart, the computer returns to exactly the same state as it was before you shut it down. It is also known as 'Suspend'.
- Lock, is responsible for blocking the equipment, to start again it is necessary to enter the user session. It is the same as pressing Win + L
- Shutdown, turn off the computer safely.
- Log Off, Log out of the computer to log in with another user.
- Standby, momentarily turn off the monitor to save energy, just move the mouse to activate it again.
- Screen Save, immediately run the screen saver.
The interesting thing about Shutdown Control is that it executes these functions in two modes; Strength which is the normal one that we all know and the second in Force if Hung which forces Windows to run them even though the computer is not responding (hung).
Something also nice is that we can minimize the program in the system tray (next to the clock), this with the button down arrow icon.
Shutdown Control It is free and does not require installation (portable), it is in English but as we saw its interface is quite intuitive and works exclusively on Windows.
In my opinion, the functions that it lacked to integrate is to Change user and restart the computer in safe mode, however this does not detract from this good software and you. What opinion do you have of Shutdown Control?
