The first time you encounter a large group of enemies is in the first level of Slumdog. In a scene reminiscent of the classic “Oldboy” movie, you find yourself with a large group of enemies charging at you, waving their fists, guns, and whatever else comes to hand. This is your first real challenge in Sifu, and you may not be prepared for anything the first time you play.

The ability to disarm your opponents – A great way to turn the tide of battle in your favor, as one of the first to come for you will be armed with a large pipe that can quickly eat away at your health and structure. Fighting them or destroying them completely will give you a huge advantage. Also, make sure you know how to dodge attacks well, as it's easy for enemies to overtake you in this narrow corridor.

rush button – A great way to close the distance between you and your enemies: you can quickly press it to take a quick sidestep, or hold it down to go into a dash. It also helps reduce your bar structure, albeit slowly.

Evasion techniques will be much more effective if you can reduce this number.

Additionally, when you walk into a group of people who haven't yet noticed your presence, you can quickly attack them for an instant single hit, allowing you to start the fight in your favor when there's one less enemy on the ground. On the second level, 'The Club', you knock on a door, seeing that there is a large group of people there.

If you walk straight into the room and attack the two enemies closest to the door, there's a good chance you'll be able to take them out quickly and effectively before alerting the group to your presence.
