Super Squidlit – Useful walking abilities

Some points:

The guide is divided by each level. Zones listed by name are notable landmarks in the game. Any "area" simply listed is the base section of the platformer, where you have to go from one door to the next.

Super Squidlit game components

There are various terms used in the game and various abilities that you may need:

    • Flying through the air: It is the action of trying to maintain a vertical position over and over again by moving to the left or right.
    • Roll up: Roll over the wall over and over again, with each roller rising vertically upwards.
    • "Closet": In the FPS sections, it is about a small space available. The walls are as close as you can see to the two opposite side walls, and the bottom is pretty shallow. Most of them contain fake backups that upload if you enter them.

Blipston (6 buttons, 2 notes)

city ​​area

    • Button: The first button in the game and probably the most hidden. Locate the mushroom squid, Bnurpy, in the city. When you press the button below, one of his eyes will move towards the other. You can then press the jump button to control the other eye and dodge a collision. Bounce one eye over the other three times at a time and a Bnurpy button will appear.

2 area.

    • Button: the path above the snail. You have to dodge the slug to get it. After that, it's just behind the screen. A little to the right.
    • Note (Ooblugs): The first stone wall. To reach the button, you have to jump to the left of the place where the slug was. Reach him through the air.

The store 4

    • Note (Sky Shield): After destroying the first barrier, you will find a destructible obstacle (brown block). Go down and follow this path.
    • Button: On the brown destructible block mentioned in the previous note.

The store 5

    • Button: When the path heads down (after passing 2 ladybugs), you should see a barrier on the left side. Break it down.

Pub area and docks

    • Button: Located on the roof of the pub.
    • Button: Go to the left side of the area. The dock will end and you can jump into the water. The button is in the water, slightly to the right.

Ice Volcano Island (6 buttons and 3 notes in the Plip section, 2 buttons in the FPS zones)

elevator area

    • Note (Squishu): There is an opening in the floor after the elevator operator. Go down and go left.
    • Button: Located on several platforms above the elevator operator.

The store 1

    • Button: After 3 pegs there is a small tunnel that the enemy walks through. Press against the wall to climb up and over it.

2 Zone

    • Button: At the end of the area is a floating block just before the pin drop. Climb on it, and then roll the ink to the right. Roll up the rock (it will be above the exit door). The button is up there.

3 area.

    • Button: In the section with all the brown destructible blocks, there is a hidden button on the far left block.
    • Note (Squishu's Riing): In the same section as the button, there is one hidden in a block on the far right.

Region 5

    • Button: Once you go down the hole, you will go past the save spot and see a hole at the top. Climb up the hole and see the button.

hot tub area

    • Memo (mana): After the save point, climb above the cave opening.

FPS Zone 3

    • Button: Go left from the beginning. You'll fight 3(?) flatworm ghosts as you make your way down the hallway. The end of the hallway looks like a dead end, but if you go into a small room (it should be on your right), a secret door will open with a button.

FPS Zone 4

    • Button: Here is a crossroads where you can go in all 4 directions. Go to the left of the direction you had at the beginning (you have to fight the flatworm ghost and the icicle enemy). Behind the enemies you should find a "closet" with a false wall that leads to a button.

Hot tub area (cast)

    • Button: Dive into the hot tub a few times (the color should change), then talk to the green ooblug next to it. It will give you a button to turn the bath into salt water.
    • Carbonifer Storm Island (7 buttons and 2 notes on Plip plots, 3 on FPS plots)

The store 1

    • Button: After the small tunnel with the enemy at the beginning, you will see some stairs up and to the right. Climb up them and jump on the mushroom you will see. The button is on the left.
    • Button: After fighting the spore-spitting mushroom, after getting the last button, jump on the blue mushroom below. Roll to the right wall to go up.

Region 2

    • Button: You will see it if you jump to the right at the beginning. Keep walking until you find a "triangle" of platforms and stand on the top one. A dragonfly will fly and you can aim to the right.
    • Note (Aneri): About ⅔ of the level, to the right of the small hole there is a door (no loss, you have to go through it to finish the level). Go through the door and jump on the dragonflies to find the note on top. If you fail, you can try again by walking out the door and back in.

3 area.

    • Button: If you follow the upper path, you will find a door on the platform. Review it. When you scroll down this subsection, you will find a button on the right side.
    • Button: After the door that leads to the last button, go down to the next opening. There you will see a button.
    • Note (Chickenshit): Warning, you will have to follow the lower path for this one. In any case, when you find the end of the level, go back to the upper path. After passing the enemy with the red cap, a dragonfly should appear on the right (if not, it reloads the level, that's the bottom path issue I mentioned). Climb on it and go to the end, you will see a note on the platform above the door at the end of the level.

Region 4

    • Note (Loshia): Following the upper path, you will see a door in the corridor. Go through it and up the stairs. On the last jump you will have to ram a smaller stump, ink your way past them and roll to keep going up (this is the hardest jump so far).
    • Button: After exiting the door from the previous note, make a roll and climb up the left side of the tree where it was.

Region 5

    • Button: Climbing up inside the first tree, you'll see a path leading off to the left. Ignore it, go up to the wall on the right, rolling on it. The button will be at the top left.

FPS Zone 2

    • Button: Near the end of the level, to the left of the starting wall (to the right if you walk back from the end), there is a small "closet" with a secret wall.

FPS Area 3

    • Button: Follow the left wall from the beginning. You will quickly find a "closet" with a false wall.

FPS Area 5

According to the developer, there should be a button in this section that is not displayed. It will be fixed.

Biblobia (8 buttons and 5 notes in Plipa sections, 3 in FPS areas)

Although the developer said that there are 8 buttons in the platform section, we couldn't find all of them.

1 area.

    • Button: On the cave platform just after the first tree, turn left. Jump up, faint twice, and then you should be able to roll to the ledge to climb it. Or after the switchback section in the cave, drop off the first cliff, then jump to the left. Button to the left of the ledge.

Region 2

    • Note (Toms): After the 4th enemy that jumps you will see stones above you in the form of stairs. Go up to them, the note is at the top.
    • Button: After receiving the note, drop into the first pit on your way forward. The button will be to your right if you continue on your way after that.

FPS Zone 3

    • Button: Follow the wall to the left. Behind the pillar you will see a small "closet".

FPS Area 5

    • According to the developer, there should be a button in this section that is not displayed. It will be fixed.

FPS Area 6

    • Button: On the right wall of the area where you meet the first enemies, there is a "closet" with a false wall.

Region 6

    • Button: You should see it above you as you start down the tunnel, at the beginning of which there are 2 blue bugs going back and forth. When you reach the door at the end of the area, go back and take the highest path.

Region 7

    • Button: There is a door above the first enemy. Turn towards the wall and press up to enter the door. The button will be visible immediately. Follow the path and when you can jump, go left.
    • Note (Relk): After getting the button we just mentioned, take the upper path to the right. You will have to go down and go left into a small tunnel.
    • Button: When you get back to the main area, you will see the book above you in the mine. Let it fall. Roll over the wall of the mine to climb to the top. The button is at the top.
    • Note (Grimwar): After the zig-zag section you will find a caterpillar enemy. Kill him and use the book cover he threw at you to hold on to the red button (you can flip the book cover over to snap it into place).

Region 8

    • Note (Cliodhna): After you see the first cupcake of the level and start walking to the left, there are some brown destructible blocks. Climb on them and you will find a save spot, a squid and a note on the right.

Region 9

    • Note (Word Jelly): Found in the area above the two blue beetles just before the blue door. Roll away from the wall on the left side to climb it.

Sea Attack (5 buttons and 2 notes in Plip sections)

The store 2

    • Button: Follow the path below. After the clawed enemy on the ceiling, there will be a path below you that goes slightly to the left.
    • Note (Garbage Theory): Go back to the starting area and follow the highest path. You will see a section where you can jump out of the water. Follow this section to the end.
    • Button: Follow the walls on the left side. A small ascending well leads to the button.
    • Button: Get out of the water at the top left of town. Conelit will offer you a button to beat the minigame. (It's also one of the hardest buttons in the game.) Tip: Start from the right and remember that you can fall faster by pushing down and jumping. Otherwise, you just have to practice. You can try again as many times as you want.

Zone 4 (Coconut Quest)

    • Button: In the second pool of water in this area, go all the way to the bottom on the far left.
    • Note (Squidlits): After collecting the coconut, continue to the right.

Region 5

Button: On the first diverging path you will see a path going down/left (in the other direction there is a pincer shaped enemy and a pool of air above him). The button is on this way down/left.

Spoopopolis (20 buttons and 6 notes in the Plip sections, 5 in the FPS zones)

This level is big, so here's a breakdown of how many buttons are where:

    • 1 in the dock area
    • 13 in urban areas
    • 3 in the first sections of the FPS
    • 6 in forest areas
    • 2 in the second section of the FPS

dock area

    • Button: Go left and jump from the end of the pier. The button is in the water.
    • Note (Archela): Go up to the roof of the gift shop and then climb the ledge above it to the right.

urban area 1

    • Note (spoops): Located just above the first spider you see. Keep going and you will find some platforms going up. Go up them to go a little to the left, to where the note was.
    • Button: Instead of walking on the aforementioned platforms, go down below them and keep to the right.

urban area 2

    • Button: You will see the platforms above the first enemy locust. Roll to the wall on the right to climb it. You will see moving platforms going up and going to the left.
    • Note (Nurts): Once you get out of a section of town with NPCs you can talk to, you will find a wall on the cupcake/left of the enemy locust. Find yourself in it to climb it.

urban area 3

    • Button: Go past the cloak NPC and you will find a split path. Follow the lower path with the spider, the button will be at the end of this hallway.

urban area 4

    • Button: Dive into the first puddle of green slop. It is located in the lower left corner of this pool.
    • Button: After swimming in the green slime, you will find a ladder that goes down. When you start to descend, there will be a wall on the right. Roll towards it to go up and then roll towards the other wall on the left.

urban area 5

    • Button: When you come across the first bee/lantern enemy, jump on it to get to the right edge.
    • Note (Shadows): After the second enemy with the bee/lantern, you will see a note about the NPC with the turban.
    • Button – After a small tunnel where two ghosts are trying to squeeze you between them, you will see a small cove below and to your left.

urban area 6

    • Button: Swim under the first bee enemy. You will find a gate guarded by a clawed enemy. The button is on the right side of this room.
    • Button: After 3 green beetles there is a door in the wall. The button is in that room, on the ledge near the top.

urban area 7

    • Button: Follow the highest path when you have the first option. You will find a door. It's to the right of this room (it blends in with it a lot).

urban area 8

    • Button: After a squid with sunglasses and a bowl of cereal, you'll see her on the ledge to your right and above you, disguised as a bug.

urban area 9

    • Button: After the second clawed enemy and just below the first platform where the maddin is.

FPS Zone 1

    • Button: After opening the first door with the lock symbol, you will find a room with another door with the lock symbol and a door with a shelf of enemies. On the right side of the room (if you're facing either of these doors) is a "closet" with a false wall.

Zone 4 FPS

    • Button: After using the key to open the door, you need to be in front of the "closet" (in the area with the brown enemy). False wall, as always.

Forest zone 1

    • Button – After exiting the sewer section, climb onto the roof of the section you were just on and continue to the left.

Forest zone 2

    • Button – After encountering the first locust enemy, you will see a brown destructible block on the ground. Break it and go into the hole. The button is on the left (guarded by a ghost).
    • Note (blue crystals): Once you get past the big stone-shaped enemy, you can start going down into the cave (there's a spider at the beginning). Instead, roll to the wall at the entrance to climb over it.

Forest zone 3

    • Button: You will see 2 brown destructible blocks near the start. Crush them and fall into the pit. Keep your head down as you keep walking to the right.
    • Button: After talking to the NPC and going through the door, you should fall into the hole with the shields on your right. Go left instead.

Forest zone 4

    • Button: Bounce off the first blue mushroom and go left.

Forest zone 5

    • Button: After talking to an NPC, go up to the roof above him.

FPS Zone 6

    • Button: To the left of the "key" door in this section is a small cabinet with a false wall.

FPS area 8

    • Button: Immediately in front of the door with the key (the area with 3 lobsters inside) is a cabinet to the right if you face the door with the key.

The area with the mana jar

    • Note (Stallabaktu): Walk over the mana flask without pouring ink into it. It is located to the right of the jar.
