the hero slayer – How to get past the bosses

How to beat bosses in Skull: the hero slayer. A great combination of RPG and platform genres, the events of which will take place in a two-dimensional open world. All the action takes place from a side view, allowing you to take control of the entire situation. You will embark on a faraway and fascinating adventure that will take place in the realm of demons.

Your main task is to save the king, who has been captured by treacherous humans. Before the events that unfold in the story, humans constantly attacked the demon realm, carrying heavy artillery in the form of mighty warriors. These attacks were unsuccessful and the humans began asking the imperial army for help. This allowed them to gain new strength and reach the very ruler of the demon realm, taking him prisoner. You will play an unusual role: that of the last skeleton, who wants to find a way to destroy the opponent and return the ruler to his rightful place.

How are rulers destroyed in Skull: the hero slayer?

There are three bosses to defeat.

Yggdrasil.

Recommended skulls: mummy clown

Yggdrasil is the first boss you will encounter. The best option is the skull of the mummy. It is most likely the only strong skull available at the time. You can also use other skulls, but this one is the most versatile.

The first thing you'll notice are the platforms that are on either side of Yggdrasil. And he attacks with two fists.
Jump onto one of the platforms and start shooting the boss.
Always raise your fists before attacking – you should be guided by this. To avoid damage, simply walk away from Yggdrasil and jump in the direction that depends on which platform you are on.

When you drop his health to 40%, a pink ball of energy will begin to form on his forehead. The platforms will disappear and you will have to fight him on the ground. He will start throwing a big ball of energy at you along with 5 other small balls. The big ball will point and fly towards you, while the others will be evenly distributed on all sides. Do some damage to Yggdrasil and he will fall back. Shortly after, the platforms will return and he will return for his first attack, but it will be a bit faster. Luckily he won't have a lot of HP, so you'll just have to finish competently.

Leian Sisters

Recommended skulls: mummy, samurai, ninja

This one will be harder than Yggdrasil. You will have to fight against two enemies at once: the Sisters of Leiana. They will start the battle by shooting lightning bolts in your direction. They will be on two opposite sides, so dodging their attacks can be a bit difficult. During the second attack, they will both come out of the screen and attack you from the top left and right, forming a cross. Both will end up appearing at the meeting point of the lines. So you can get ahead of this and jump to the other side to start attacking them before they disappear again.
They will then return to their original position and fire lightning at you again. During the next attack, one of them will spawn first and aim horizontally from the ground, while the other will drop from above directly in the center of the screen. You can try to position yourself on the left side between them, attacking from two at the same time. Then one of them will be placed next to the king and you will only fight against one of the sisters.

You will notice that his attacks are quite slow. And they tend to remain immobile for long periods of time between attacks. You can deplete their entire energy bar just by shooting them with a mummy skull. Before you defeat the first sister, the other will return to the arena and you will have to fight both of them again. Keep attacking the first one to kill her quickly and go 1v1 again.

When you kill the first one, the other one will turn black and completely change its attacks. Also, the pauses between attacks will be much shorter and you will have more health. If you use a mummy, you can stand still, shoot, and smartly dodge during his attacks.

Chimera.

Recommended skulls: ninja, fighter, grim reaper, mummy

You can get very close to Chimera and attack its claws. This is where a fast and strong skull, like a ninja or fighter, comes in handy. You can also try using a skull from a distance, as you will have a chance to hit the left side of the screen when the acid starts pouring from the ceiling. This will mainly help you stay away from the Chimera.

The Reaper – The perfect skull to counteract the small mafias that from time to time fall from the ceiling. Use your attacks to quickly destroy them.
