How to Build Houses in Valheim is a game where you have to explore a vast fantasy world steeped in Norse mythology and Viking culture.

Your adventure begins in the heart of Valheim, a quiet place. But be careful, as the further you go, the more dangerous the world around you becomes. Luckily, not only dangers await you along the way, but you will also discover more and more valuable materials that will be useful for crafting deadly weapons and tough armor. Build fortresses and outposts all over the world! Eventually, he builds a mighty longship and sets out across the vast oceans in search of foreign lands... But be careful not to sail too far...

How are houses built in Valheim?

The first thing you have to do is collect as many simple resources as possible: stone and wood. Before you start building, you have to find a good open space in which you can precisely fit a house. Take a hoe and level the ground so that the house is on a flat, level surface. Lay down a 2x2 wooden floor – this will be the center of the build, where the fire and cooking grate are placed. Along the perimeter of the finished floor lay a 1x1 hardwood floor – you should have 12 of these squares (see the plan below and use as a diagram). Around the resulting floor you must place another 12 squares of 2×2 wooden flooring, now you can start with the walls. Build walls around the entire perimeter of the floor, leaving the side of a square free – put a door in this place and, if necessary, a ladder in front of it. Next, build another row of wooden walls around the perimeter, including the space above the door, but this time use a half wall. The next row will be a thatched roof with an angle of 26 degrees: put corner sections at the corners of the walls and regular sections between them. On the next row above you have to put a thatch roof with a 45 degree angle: you will need two sections that will connect at the top.

Once the cabin is built, it is time to furnish the accommodation. To live comfortably in Valheim you will need to craft and place the following items in your house:

• the bonfire;
• cooking grid;
• Bed;
• workbench;
• Chest
