Conveniently, the components needed to create the spell are fairly easy to come by. The bat wing and black rose can be found in the graveyard, while the weave is a simple bunch of twigs that you've probably collected hundreds of times.

Once you have crafted and equipped the exorcism spell, all you have to do is approach the horned ghost and cast the spell on it.

At this point, the ghost will explode and release several different ingredients, one of which should be ghostly ectoplasm.
