How to update the application in Zepeto

Like any other Android app, Zepeto needs to be updated for it to work properly and our phone. To update it, the first step is to find out if a new version is available. There are several ways to check the version installed on your device.

Open the Zepeto app and go to “Profile” in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Now tap on the gear icon at the top right corner to enter the settings.

Check the version number you have installed and write it down. If a new version is available, a notification with a colored dot will appear to let you know.

Another option to get there is also to press and hold the Zepeto icon in the app block for a few seconds until the options menu appears and then click on App info….

You will be taken to the application settings and information page in the operating system. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll also see the version number.

Now all you have to do is compare that number to the version we suggest you download using the button at the bottom of this guide. If your version is the same as ours, you are up to date. If your version is lower, it means there is a newer version available.

In this case, all you have to do is press the green “Download” button and on the next screen press that button again.

The file will be uploaded to your normal folder. You can find it there and open it with a single tap or by tapping on the opening notification that the operating system shows when the download is complete.

This will launch the app installation menu if you have previously allowed the operating system to install apps from unknown sources or through the web browser you are using, depending on the version of Android. Click the Install button to continue with the update installation.

When the process is complete, this button will become the button to open the app. As always, you can also access the updated Zepeto through the direct access to the menu of the installed application.

We recommend that you use our system as you are guaranteed to always have the latest version of Zepeto (Google Play is not always the fastest way to update). In any case, if a new version appears and you see a notification in the same app, you will be redirected to the store to update there.
